What is Ganoderma Extract ?

Ganoderma extract is the medicinal healing agent found in the Ganoderma (also known as Reishi) mushroom. Used in Chinese medicine for over 4,000 years, Ganoderma extract is known as "spirit medicine." It’s miraculous healing ability remains somewhat of a mystery, but scholars and scientists continue to study the Ganoderma so that we may someday realize it’s full potential.

Identification
Ganoderma is extracted from mushrooms that live on tropical hardwood trees.

History
Ganoderma extract has been used in Chinese medicine for more than 3,000 years.

Function
Some people take ganoderma extract to improve the function of their kidneys. It can also be used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, eliminate insomnia and stress or lessen the side effects of chemotherapy.

Types
Ganoderma extract is available in pill, powder or liquid form. It is also the main ingredient found in Gano Café, a type of coffee that is thought to eliminate the addictive effects of caffeine.

Considerations
Although ganoderma extract is available over the counter at health food stores, talk to your health care provider before taking the extract.

Ganoderma extract has been used to treat a wide range of illnesses, including cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, lung and liver disorders, allergies, stress and coronary disorders. Ganoderma extract has also been present in treatments to prevent certain health factors which may lead to heart problems or other coronary illness. In addition, Ganoderma extract is considered to have an ability to strengthen the human body’s immune system. An immune system, which is properly functioning, should fight against harmful viruses and other infections before any harm is caused within the body. For this reason, Ganoderma extract has also been considered a preventative measure to avoid future illnesses and is even thought to prevent the reoccurrence of cancer. A patient who suffers from cancer is often referred to chemotherapy treatment, which can be both physically and mentally painful. When used during cancer treatments, Ganoderma extract may provide relief from the side effects of chemotherapy, which can include fatigue, hair and appetite loss.

Individuals who suffer from stress related symptoms, including fatigue, the inability to concentrate or sleep deprivation may also find relief through the use of Ganoderma extract. It’s thought to promote an overall improvement in mental health. Additionally, patients who wish to repair fine lines, blemishes and age spots look to Ganoderma extract for answers. It has been shown to promote the delivery of nutrients throughout the skin and even aid in the repair of skin that has been damaged due to overexposure to the sun.

For many years, Ganoderma extract was very rare due to the scarce existence of the Ganoderma mushroom. For a time, these treatments were expensive and reserved only for royalty. The years have since brought new ways to ensure it’s survival, including the process of growing Ganoderma mushrooms in a greenhouse setting. Gano Excel is said to own the world’s largest organic Ganoderma plantation, which is used for the growth of Ganoderma.

Ganoderma extract is one of the main ingredients found in Gano Café, also known as Ganoderma Coffee, which is a product created by DXN. This gourmet black coffee combines Brazilian roast coffee beans with Ganoderma extract and is the world’s first known beverage to accomplish this combination. Because of the presence of Ganoderma extract, Lingzhi Coffeé has been called "The World’s 1st Healthy Coffee" and is said to promote a natural healing ability combined with less caffeine than decaffeinated coffee products. The absence of side effects and the lesser addictive ingredients are causing this coffee to make a big splash in coffee cups throughout the world.

Any person who decides to begin a treatment involving Ganoderma extract should expect to experience some type of reaction, which may appear within a few days or months following the onset of treatment. This article should, in no way, be considered as medical advice or instructions. A licensed medical doctor should be consulted before beginning any new treatment regimen, including that which consists of Ganoderma extract.

GL Spore

The Ganoderma Lucidum spore (Reishi Mushroom Spore) is a powerful supplement that is believed to have anti-tumor and immuno-potentiating properties (enhancing the functioning of the immune system). Therefore, it is most beneficial for those fighting illnesses such as cancer and the adverse effects of cancer treatment, hepatitis, AIDS complex, herpes zoster, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, chronic bronchitis and allergies. Few side effects have been reported with use of ganoderma (reishi).

If you or a loved one is struggling with a chronic illness and looking for a healthful supplement, try the Ganoderma Lucidum Spore (Reishi Mushroom Spore). This powerful supplement enhances energy levels, is believed to decrease tumor growth, and may improve weakened immune systems. Make a confident and educated choice, order the Ganoderma Lucidum Spore today and bring balance to your life.
Chronic Illnesses:

How Can Ganoderma Complement the Treatment of a Chronic Illness?

Immuno-Compromising Illnesses
Herbalists frequently recommend ganoderma lucidum spore powder for the adjuvant treatment of many different immuno-compromising illnesses. Ganoderma (reishi) is an excellent complementary herbal treatment for those with chronic and acute hepatitis, AIDS-related complex, to provide pain-relief from herpes zoster (shingles), and for those suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic asthma, bronchitis, or allergies.

Cancer
In China the ganoderma lucidum spore (reishi mushroom spore) is often used as a prophylaxis against and a complementary treatment for cancer. At this time, there are no controlled clinical trials in humans to evaluate the effects of ganoderma (reishi) against cancer. However, anecdotal clinical observation suggests that spore extracts increase the white blood cell count in patients being treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, while decreasing symptoms of fatigue and weakness. By enhancing the immune defenses and minimizing the symptoms caused by toxic cancer treatments, cancer patients can improve their quality of life. Although ganoderma (reishi) is not a pharmaceutical agent and has not undergone rigorous human clinical trials, there are numerous animal studies and indirect clinical evidence to support its supplemental use in cancer. In a review of the literature conducted by a scientist at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Chang (1994) discussed the enormous potential of ganoderma (reishi) and recommended that nationwide studies be developed to examine the following benefits:

As a supplement during chemotherapy or radiotherapy to reduce treatment side-effects such as fatigue, loss of appetite, hair loss, and risk of infection.
For the prevention of cancer in individuals at high risk
As a supplement for cancer patients to improve an overall feeling of wellness, decreased pain, and increased health related quality of life.
As a supplement for preventing primary or recurrent cancer.

Side Effects:

What are the side effects of ganoderma lucidum?

There are very few side effects from taking ganoderma (reishi), and most people report that they have experienced no side effects at all. In general, ganoderma (reishi) is non-toxic, even when used at high therapeutic doses. Allergic reactions are very rare. However, as with many herbal supplements, mild side effects may include dizziness, dryness of the mouth, throat and nasal areas, upset stomach or loose stools. As with any supplements, consumers should communicate their use of ganoderma (reishi) with their primary health care professionals. When used at high therapeutic doses, ganoderma (reishi) has the potential to enhance the effects of the following types of medications, and thus should be discussed with your health care professional to allow proper patient monitoring:

Antihypertensive medications
Hypoglycemic medications
Anticoagulant medications
Uses and Therapeudic Dosage

For general wellness, health maintenance and prevention of illness, take one 250 mg capsule with meal once per day in the first week. Gradually increase to two to three capsules per day.

For treatment of chronic illnesses, take three to five 250 mg capsules each time, three times a day (no more than 15 capsules a day).

Reishi Mushroom Facts

Did you know that Reish Gano (RG) - Ganoderma Lucidum (GL) has the ability of giving us a medical check-up and finding hidden diseases in the body?

It can then remove the toxins and enable the body to become the best doctor to treat a wide spectrum of diseases with the natural immune system.

RG - GL basic functions are to cleanse the blood: remove toxins; boost the function of the kidney; protect the liver; strengthen the heart; and cleanse the colon.

It also acts as a relaxant with anti-cancer properties.

Red Reishi has more than 200 active elements which can be divided into three categories with ratio of:

30% water-soluble elements
65% organic soluble elements
5% volatile elements.

The effects of Reishi on the body have to go through five (5) stages:

Scanning (1-30 days) - Reishi helps to detect hidden disease and toxins in the body and proceed to regulate the body functions. During the process, the body will show symptoms- known as 'ailment reflection". This reaction is not a side effect, but to help us identify the ailing area. This is the scanning effect of Reishi Gano.

Cleansing-Detoxification (1-30 weeks) - Purple Reishi is known as "King of toxin removers" for its power to remove excessive uric acid, lactic acid, excess cholesterol, fat deposits, dead tissue and toxins accumulated in the body. Toxins are discharged through the circulation system - (kidney and liver) by urination and stool, through perspiration, boils, rashes, phlegm and mucus.

Regulation (1-12 months) - During the restoring process, many reactions can be observed. Do not be alarmed, this is the sign of the body healing itself. If the reaction is too strong, reduce the dosage.

Building-Recovery (6-24 months) - Reishi will continue to repair the affected body parts, and strengthen the immune system to be more resistant to diseases. It also supplies the essential elements and vitamins for speedy recovery.

Rejuvenation (1-3 years) - The ultimate aim of consuming Reishi is to maintain the body functions at its optimum and restore youthfulness.

Reishi Mushrooms - The Medicine of Kings

For over 2000 years Reishi mushrooms (Ganoderma lucidum) have been recognized by Chinese medical professionals as a valuable remedy. Its Chinese name Lingzhi, means "spiritual potency". Reishi mushrooms are regarded by the Chinese as the "Medicine of Kings". Dr. Shi-Jean Lee, the most famous Chinese medical doctor of the Ming Dynasty, strongly endorsed the effectiveness of Reishi in his famous book, Ban Chao Gang Moo ("Great Pharmacopoeia"). He stated that the "long-term taking of Reishi (Lingzhi) will build a strong, healthy body and assure a long life."(1)

A Mushroom for the Nerves
Reishi mushrooms have been traditionally recommended by Chinese and Japanese herbalists for insomnia due to their "sleep-promoting factor".(2) Long-term use causes a significant promotion of slow wave sleep1. Reishi mushrooms are prescribed in China for a number of psychiatric and neurological afflictions, including diseases involving the muscles, anorexia, and debility following lengthy illnesses.(3)

In Japan, the dried "mycelium" of Reishi the root-like body that produces mushrooms has been found to be highly effective in the treatment of neuroses caused by "environmental stress".(2) In addition, in an eight-month study of Alzheimer's disease, patients taking a Reishi mycelium product demonstrated significant improvement.

In China, Reishi is used for its muscle relaxing and analgesic (pain-inhibiting) effects. In one study, Reishi alleviated anxiety in 18 of 20 patients after four months' use. It was concluded that the mushroom has an essentially "calmative function", but is neither a narcotic nor a hypnotic.

Reishi as a Cardiotonic
For centuries, Reishi has been known as a cardiotonic herb. It was prescribed routinely to those with a "knotted and tight chest" symptoms consistent with both stress and/or coronary artery disease-related angina. Researchers in China found that Reishi improved the blood flow and lowered oxygen consumption in the heart muscle.(3) Similar results were also found by Japanese scientists.(2,4) They found that Reishi contains ganoderic acids (which belong to a group of natural substances called "triterpenes") which lower high blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and inhibit platelet aggregation (the clumping together of blood cells), which can lead to heart attacks and other circulation problems. In fact, Reishi's triterpenes are so important that in Japan they are used to determine Reishi's quality and authenticity.

In a six-month clinical trial performed in a university hospital in Tokyo, nearly half (47.5%) of 53 hypertensive patients lowered their blood pressure by 10-19 mmHg, and 10% of the subjects dropped their pressures 20-29 mmHg (both systolic and diastolic readings) after taking Reishi extract.1 Similar results were observed in a Chinese clinical trial without any side-effects.(2) Another large Reishi study in China found that low density lipoprotein (LDL the harmful cholesterol) levels dropped in 68% of 90 patients following only one to four months of Reishi use.

Recently, Russian scientists have taken an interest in Reishi. They found that in addition to all the cardiovascular benefits mentioned above, Reishi showed a significant preventive and therapeutic action against plaque build-up ("plaque" is a fatty goo which is comprised of a combination of oxidized cholesterol, calcium, and degenerated white blood cells ["foam cells"]. It is deposited on the walls of arteries which restricts blood flow by narrowing the passage within arteries resulting in atherosclerosis).

Reishi in Cancer Research
Studies of Reishi in cancer research have been largely conducted in Japan, where Reishi was scientifically proven to have an anti-tumor effect. This research has continued in Korea, Japan, and China.

An example of Reishi's cancer-fighting potential occurred in the summer of 1986. A 39 -year old Japanese woman approached Dr. Fukumi Morishige, M.D., Ph.D, a renowned Japanese surgeon and a member of the Linus Pauling Institute of Science and Medicine, for help in treating her lung cancer. It was a complicated case, and she had been refused an operation by several hospitals. Hopeless, she returned home where she found her husband had collected Reishi in the forests. He boiled the mushroom and gave it to her to drink as a tea.

While this was going on, she begged Dr. Morishige to do something for her cancer, regardless of its very advanced stage. From what was evident six months earlier, Morishige was surprised when he found no increase in swelling. Then he looked at her X-rays. Something wasn't right: her tumor showed as only a trace on the X-ray. When she told him she had been drinking Reishi tea, Morishige operated with great curiosity. He was "astonished" to find only scar tissue, and although cancerous cells remained, they were now benign.

That was the impetus for Dr. Morishige to begin his studies of Reishi as a treatment for cancer especially cases given up as hopeless. Dr. Morishige now believes that Reishi is also an effective cancer preventive. The active anti-cancer constituents in Reishi are called Beta-D-glucan. Beta-D-glucan is a polysaccharide basically a huge sugar molecule made up of many little sugar molecules chained together bound to amino acids. These intricate sugars stimulate or modulate the immune system by activating immune cells such as macrophage and helper T-cells, as well as increase the immunoglobin levels (immunoglobins are specific types of antibodies) to produce a heightened response to foreign cells, whether bacteria, viruses, or tumor cells.

One interesting and important finding by Dr. Morishige was that the effectiveness of Reishi could be increased by combining it with high doses of vitamin C. Polysaccharides are huge molecules absorbed by the body with difficulty. Vitamin C helps to break down these huge molecules to much smaller molecules called oligoglucan, which can be easily absorbed. Vitamin C thus increases the bioavailablity of Reishi, and therefore, synergistically increases Reishi's immune-stimulating and anti-cancer effects.

Anti-Allergic /Anti-Inflammatory Actions
During the 1970s and 1980s, Reishi's anti-allergy action became the subject of ongoing research in both China and Japan. Studies showed that Reishi extract significantly inhibited all four types of allergic reactions, including positive effects against asthma and contact dermatitis. In 1990, researchers at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio found that Reishi could be effectively used in treating stiff necks, stiff shoulders, conjunctivitis (inflammation of the fine membrane lining the eye and eyelids), bronchitis, rheumatism, and improving "competence" of the immune system without any significant side-effects.(6)

Part of the anti-inflammatory effect of Reishi may be due to its free radical scavenging effect. Reishi extract significantly elevates the free radical scavenging ability of the blood, especially against the particularly harmful hydroxyl radicals. The hydroxyl radical scavenging effect of Reishi is so strong that even after the Reishi extract was absorbed and metabolized the scavenging action still continued.

Healing the Liver
Reishi is commonly prescribed in China for the treatment of chronic hepatitis. In treatments lasting 2 to 15 weeks, the overall rate of efficiency was 70.7 to 98.0%.(4) In Japan, Reishi extract has been reported to be effective in treating patients with liver failure.(2) In animal studies of mice with carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatitis, the extent of liver damage was significantly inhibited by continuous dosing with Reishi tincture, and the regeneration of the liver was promoted.(7)

Recent Applications
As the "Medicine of Kings", Reishi is widely used for different purposes. It is used for symptomatic relief of arthritis and of menopausal anxiety. It is also used in treating allergic asthma, hypertension, hypothyroidism, bronchitis, insomnia, general anxiety and stress, and cardiovascular problems. Reishi also is often the main ingredient in herbal formulas for immune dysfunction syndromes, such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Dosage
hinese medical texts traditionally call for using 1.5 to 9 grams of dry mushroom per day which approximates to 150 to 900 mg of concentrated Reishi extract.(2) For serious problems like cancer, Dr. Morishige adjusted the dosage from 2 to 10 grams of Reishi extract per day.(2,5)

Spirulina - The Green Food.

Spirulina has been consumed as a food for centuries, with ancient cultures in South America and Africa using spirulina for its amazing therapeutic properties and dense nutrient content. Recently spirulina has been termed the richest, most nutritious super food known to man and a September 2005 issue of AARP Magazine listed spirulina as the number one food to add years to your life.

Spirulina is arguably nature’s most powerful green food. With over 60% protein content, Spirulina is the highest, most digestible source of “complete” protein. Spirulina is also the source of several important phytonutrients like Carotenoids; Essential Fatty Acids like Gamma Linolenic Acid; Vitamin B12 - not found in any other green food; trace minerals such as Iron, Magnesium, Calcium and Selenium; Sulpholipids and the antioxidant enzyme Superoxide dismutase (SOD) all of which are in a bio-available form. This ability of being easily digested and assimilated is due to spirulina’s lack of cell wall. Most remarkably spirulina is the highest source for phytopigments like Phycocyanin, Beta-carotene, Zeaxanthin and other plant pigments that define green foods like Chlorophyll, making spirulina the most cost effective of green foods.

The Benefits of Spirulina in today's society are becoming too great not to take notice of as life for many gets busier and busier, a lot of diets are dictated by the time you have available for eating, from the rushed breakfast, to the small break in the working day. This leaves many people sold on convenience foods which can be prepared in an instant way, which are often high in fats, sugars and carbohydrates, and low in protein, natural nutrients and fibre. To receive the supply of nutrients to assist the body to function at optimum levels, larger volumes of nutritionally empty foods are consumed. Convenience foods typically increase bodyfat, raise cholesterol levels, and contribute to digestive and health challenges in later years.

The human digestive system, when bombarded with over-processed fatty foods, doesn't extract enough quality nutrients. The body is continually starving for more nutrients, triggering appetite and compulsive overeating.

The Green Future Diet

You must learn to work with your body, not against it. People are using spirulina as a dietary supplement as part of transforming their health and vitality. Spirulina is a very concentrated natural food. Many are using it as a dietary supplement and a complete food. For those who lead busy lives it is ideal.

Does not need to be chewed, ideal food on the run.
Prepared in seconds
Highly concentrated for easy nutrient absorbtion
High quality protien

As part of a wholesome natural food diet, spirulina can help bring bodyfat back to a healthy level. Many people use it along with a low carbohydrate diet and exercise to achieve their results. Taking a heaping teaspoon of powder (about 5 grams), one hour before meals can help satisfy your body's appetite. It is not an appetite suppressant in any way, and contains no drugs or chemicals that trick the body. It is simply super concentrated, easily digested natural nutrition. With digestion being the largest process occuring in the body the less work the body has to do to extract the nutrients from the food, the more it can spend using them on repair, growth and vital functions. Exactly what the body needs.

Look Before you Leap

Network marketing is a type of marketing strategy that provides compensation for members on two channels: either from the direct sales generated from products, or for any sales generated by individuals that they've introduced into the company. It is one of the fastest growing online earning strategies, but, still, many fail in their pursuit. In order to attain better results from this type of business, and experience network marketing success, you should be looking out for the following factors.

The Network Marketing Company
Before you get too consumed with the benefits of joining a network marketing company, you need to do some research on it first. This ensures that you are working with a well-established company that is able to deliver the promise of compensation -- which is really the network marketing success most of us aim for when joining such types of businesses in the first place.

Here are some important questions to ask before taking the plunge.

• How long has the business been in existence?
• How established is it?
• Is there a company representative readily available if you have any questions and concerns?
• How does the compensation method work?
• How does the company treat its distributors? What percentage of the profit do the distributors get to keep for themselves?

There are more questions to ask but these should get you started nicely. The objective behind all these is to rule out anything malicious about the company and establish its reputation as a legitimate network marketing entity.

Available Products

The product is one factor that could determine whether you need to opt for a particular network marketing company or not. Unless your prospect company offers quality items, how do you expect to make sales on the front end? Place yourself in the position of a distributor of the company you are planning to join. Do you handle the kinds of products that you'd be able to sell easily? Are you enthusiastic enough in convincing a customer to purchase them from you? If not, there is no point in you trying to release it for a bigger price tag just so you get extra compensation for the sales generated. This will not lend itself well to you attaining network marketing success.

Quality of Training

The company should be willing to expand its network marketing capabilities and aim to stay competitive. Training is vital to continually provide competitive distributors. If not, then it raises a lot of questions on the real objectives of your company and you should think twice about whether the type of network marketing success you want is possible or not.

As a new distributor, what kind of business plan are you going to follow? You should wonder about this. After all, the main feature that attracts new recruits into your network marketing business is your ability to showcase the critical steps that must be taken to attain the same level of network marketing success as the ones who came before you.

Commitment and Dedication

To make it clear: you must NEVER opt for companies that promise a "get rich quick" scheme. There is a huge chance they are lying to you. While this does not discount the fact that some actually work, most of these are founded on pure luck and not on strategy.

If you want steady growth in your earnings, then it will certainly take some time and effort on your part. After all, establishing a prospect base and then turning them into sales sources is something that happens gradually -- slowly, but surely. This is especially true if you are new to this nature of business.

One of the most common reasons why people fail in the network marketing business is that they take on a nonchalant approach to handling it. If you stay dedicated and committed to your desire to increase your earnings, then it will readily translate into a lucrative business that offers major compensation. Do well and network marketing success is just around the corner.

Benefits of Cocoa - DXN Cocozhi

One of the main ingredients of cocoa is flavonoids which are known to boost levels of nitric oxide, a chemical that helps dilate blood vessels and increase blood flow throughout and gives comfort to the Heart, brain and body.

In humans, flavonoids act as natural antioxidants, combating the cellular damage inflicted by disease-causing free radicals. Diets rich in antioxidants can help reduce the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer's. According to the results of a study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, a cup of hot water with two tablespoons of pure cocoa powder has two to three times more antioxidants than a glass of red wine, and as much as five times more than a cup of black tea. Drinking a cup of cocoa may boost our brainpower.

Researchers at the University of Nottingham in England found that consumption of flavonoid-rich cocoa resulted in significant increases in cerebral blood flow.

Scientists at the University Hospital of Cologne in Germany reported that the effects of regular cocoa consumption on blood pressure are comparable to those produced by some prescription medications. The flavonoids in cocoa also appear to have beneficial effects on cholesterol. Cocoa consumption has been shown to increase levels of heart-healthy high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and reduce levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), a type of cholesterol known to contribute to cardiovascular disease.

DXN cocozi has both cocoa and ganoderma extract which contains adenosine [another important antioxidant] . So drinking a cup of hot DXN Cocozi will have double health benefit.

Tips for Network Marketing Success

You probably have an image firmly planted in your mind of what network marketing (also known as direct sales or multilevel marketing) is all about--housewives buying and selling Tupperware while gossiping and eating finger sandwiches, or a high-pressure salesperson trying to convince you how easily you can become a millionaire if only you and your friends and their friends and so on would buy and sell vitamins with him.

Both of these images couldn't be further from the reality of network marketing. It's neither a hobby nor a get-rich-scheme but an opportunity for you to earn money running your own part- or full-time business.

Choose wisely. There are six key elements you should be looking for [when selecting an opportunity]. Number one: stability. How old is the company? Number two is excellent products or services that consumers will use and need more of.

Number three is the pay plan--how even and fair and generous overall is the distribution? This is really crucial as the pay plan represents exactly how you'll get paid--or not get paid. There are really only two questions to ask [regarding this]: How many pennies out of each sales dollar get paid back to the distributors each month, and how fair is the distribution of these pennies between the old members and the new members?

Number four is the integrity of the company and the management. As much as possible, [investigate] the experience of the CEO, [their] experience in the network marketing industry, and their background. [Have] they been successful in other companies in the industry? Do they have a good reputation?

Number five is momentum and timing. Look at where the company's at, what's going on with the company, and if it's growing.

Number six is support, training and business systems. You may have [chosen] a great company with excellent management, products that make a difference, a pay plan that's uniquely fair and very generous, and momentum and stability, but if you don't have a system in place that works, all of that [doesn't matter]. Most companies will have a transferable training system that they use, and that's where mentorship comes in.

Practice what they teach. [To succeed,] you need to be willing to listen and learn from mentors. The way this industry is structured, it's in the best interests of the [MLM veterans in your company] to help you succeed, so they're willing to teach you the system. Whatever [your mentor] did to become successful, it's very duplicatible, but you have to be willing to listen and be taught and follow those systems.

The higher-ups. It can be called various things, but the general term is the "upline," meaning the people above you. How supportive are they? Do they call you? Do they help you put a plan in place? Are they as committed to your success as they are to their own? You should be able to relate to [the people in your upline] and be able to call them at any time to say "I need some help." How much support there is from the people above you in the company is very important.

Take up the lead with your downline. There's a term in the network marketing industry called "orphans"--when somebody is brought in and then the person who brought them in is just so busy bringing in other people that they don't spend the time to teach and train [the new person]. You should be prepared to spend at least 30 days helping a new person come into the industry--training them, supporting them and holding their hand until they feel confident to be able to go off on their own. You really need to ask yourself, are you willing to do that? Are you able to do that? This is really about long-term relationship building. It's not about just bringing people into the business and just moving forward. It's about working with these people and helping them to develop relationships.

On the net. People are utilizing [the internet] as their main marketing tool. [You can set up your site] with autoresponders so when you capture leads, the autoresponder can follow up with that person. One of the greatest keys to success in this industry is follow-up. Many people will have someone call them who's interested or they'll call the person and say they're interested, but then they don't follow up with it. Automation on the internet has allowed a much more consistent method of following up.

The only drawback with the internet is people who utilize it to spam. If there was one thing I could put forward to say, "Do not do" when utilizing the internet as a marketing tool, it's spamming because that can give a very bad reputation not only to you but also to the company you're working with.

Taking care of business. This is a business, and just like if you were running a franchise or a storefront, you [should have an] accountant. You have all the same write-offs tax-wise that you have with running a [full-time] business, so it's very important to [do your research] prior to getting involved, before you start making money from it. How is that going to affect you tax-wise? What are your write-offs?

It's important to set up a [support] team around you. I'd suggest seeking out lawyers who deal in network marketing, so they're very versed in all the laws and how that affects [your business.]. There are also accountants who specialize in dealing with homebased businesses specifically in the direct-selling industry.

Don't quit your day job...yet. Never leave your full-time position unless you're absolutely certain that the income that's coming in with this company is going to be there. [Be sure that] you've been with the company [for awhile] and that you know it's a stable company, and the income that you're earning is equal to or greater than the income you're earning from your job before quitting.

How does Network Marketing work?

Network marketing is a business style that literally allows you to network with other business owners, attract new people to the network, share ideas, mentor new business owners, and help each other build successful businesses. Network marketing has been around for a very long time, but the internet has made it a more powerful business design than ever, with a global reach that was nearly impossible even two decades ago.

Network marketing allows you to own your own business while still being supported by others in the industry (those who introduced you to the business) and the basis of the business is that as you are building your business, you are also giving others the opportunity to join the network and achieve the same freedom as you by owning their own business. The success of each individual contributes to the success of everyone, so rather than being a cutthroat industry, it promotes social connection in a supportive environment.

If you are just getting into network marketing, expect it to take some time to be successful enough to leave the corporate world behind you. Expect to have to work while you build your business, and be prepared to spend 10-20 hours a week in building your business if you want it to be able to support you without relying on your corporate income.

Network marketing used to rely on word of mouth advertising. You would introduce the business to friends and family, who would introduce it to their friends and families and so on. If anything, the internet makes network marketing rely even more on word of mouth marketing it's just that, now, the word of mouth advertising grows exponentially. Instead of talking to one person or a small group at a time, you can have multiple internet tools working for you. Some of these tools include banner ads, blogs, collaborative technologies like Facebook and MySpace, Google adwords, pay-per-click advertising, and internet websites.

With more than one billion people using the internet, the potential to build a large network is unlimited. The internet allows you to work from home, on your own schedule, with extremely low costs of doing business. Other than an internet connection and a good web hosting service, your costs are minimal, meaning your advertising and marketing budget stretches further and reaches more people.

Because the internet allows you to expand your network quickly, it is important that you plan well from the very beginning. Make sure you have an image and brand identity that work for you; establish yourself as a credible businessperson through regular blogging efforts. Be a true presence on the web and within your industry. If you don't understand the tools that are available to you, educate yourself. Buy an ebook, hire a consultant, contract with a professional writer to provide content. Remember that everything you do on the internet has a lasting and profound affect on the success of your business, so approach it with the seriousness, professionalism, and enthusiasm that will bring you success.

What is Network Marketing?

This business is about utilizing your network and building new networks of customers and distributors to generate sales of products and services.
To this day, many “possibly even you” associate it unfairly as a pyramid or ponzi scheme. In the 1950's when Franchise’s first emerged they where labeled a scam, illegal etc.
Today, many traditional businesses embrace this form of marketing, it allows them to reach customers they might not otherwise. Generally, you cannot see them, it could be your next door neighbor is involved in it right now. Typically a home business does not have giant signs or large offices, yet according to the Direct Selling Association (DSA) over 13 million people in the U.S. are working within this business model.

It is a form of business in which you can make a small investment and through sheer tenacity achieve staggering levels of financial reward and personal freedom.

I believe Robert Kiyosaki summed it up nicely; it really is the
business school for people who like helping people!

Let’s take a look at the two types of business models that you could be involved in or approached with:

Network marketing / Multi-level marketing (MLM)

These companies typically though not always offer reasonably priced products and services that people consume in a short time. Generally, the commission structure is less up-front then the direct sales companies, but it has a benefit that most direct sales companies do not have which is the leverage from building an organization.
Today there are hundreds of companies you can look at, they cover everything from: Communication Services, Internet Access, Nutritional Products, Weight Loss Programs, Water Filtration Systems, Financial Programs, Electrical Power, Solar Power.
Typically costs less to get involved, from free to a few hundred dollars.
It allows more people to become directly involved.
It can build lasting residual income.
Leverages the time of others.
This business model is about sales and distribution; the ability to sell is the most important business skill you need. The best approach is the consultative sales approach, focusing on your customer’s needs.

Direct Sales Companies

These companies are known as seller-based, they market higher priced, usually one time sales items. The benefits of these programs are you make higher commissions, yet often they have very little if any residual income.
Essentially if you stop working so does your income, you are paid directly on what you personally sell, you have to sell lots and lots of merchandise. This also limits you to the type of people you can bring into your business as the “salesperson” type.
Affiliate programs fall under the direct sales company model. You only get paid when someone orders a product. There is nothing wrong with affiliate programs, some of them do produce a residual income as customers order the products or services on a continuous basis.

The only issue, I really have with many but not all affiliate programs, is the company then has the customer contact information and they really no longer need you anymore. It then becomes a one time sell for you, a long term contact for them.

I have found this to be a very rewarding career choice, the freedom from punching someone else’s clock, and now having to punch my own is really an eye opener. With todays economy the way it is, uncertain recession, inflated prices, working from home makes more sense then ever before.

Starting and running your very own business is not an easy task. If you’re willing to put in the time to educate yourself, to learn the most important skill you’ll need in life, the ability to sell, then it just might be right for you.
If you not only like working with people, but also helping them get more out of life, then this might just be for you! On the other hand, if you’re only in it for the money, odds are you’ll probably fail!

Understanding the Healing Response

Many people are caught off guard and fail to understand and interpret the symptoms when the body is changing from an acidic to an alkaline condition. Many of these symptoms and changes are unpleasant but they are short in duration, sporadic, and are a necessary part of the healing process.

There are several reasons why this happens:

1. The body and mind begin to show changes because the quality of nutrients coming into the body is of higher quality than the tissue of which the body is made. Your body has only one material from which to make tissue – your food and the nutrients it contains. Modern food usually contains poor nutrient content, and often it is even poisonous with additives.

The body begins to discard the lower grade materials to make room for the superior materials. The discarding of the material can come through the bowel causing “diarrhea”, though the kidney causing “backache”, through the respiratory system causing “cold” symptoms or through the skin causing boils, acne, rashes, psoriasis, etc., but these are temporary and will disappear when the body is cleansed of toxins.

2. Indigestion, heartburn, flatulence, bloating and burping usually starts soon after you start taking superior nutrients. This happens because your body is not used to digesting these nutrients, which often indicates that you have been deficient of these nutrients for a long time. The body's digestion usually improves in a week or two. Taking the nutrients with meals will often help.

3. Suppressed body functions will be stimulated to detoxify the body. The body will return to at least the same level of health as before, if not superior health, unless you do something to suppress this progress, such as:
Ceasing to supply these nutrients to the body
Reducing the supply too early

Continuing the intake of toxins which caused the problems in the first place

4. It is important at this time to rest and sleep more. Once the toxins are eliminated the body is ready for the building process.

5. Moderate weight fluctuation often occurs (either weight loss or weight gain) but will stabilize.

6. Skin rashes or acne. The skin is the largest eliminating organ, so the concept of toxins coming out through the skin is easily understood, even if it is hard to face.

7. Aches, pains and arthritis will often get stirred up, even if you haven't been suffering with it for years. This happens because uric acid and toxins aggravate these conditions as they are cleansed from the body.

8. Fevers can occur when dormant bacteria and virus are being cleaned out. This sounds discouraging, but the healing crisis doesn't last very long and the benefits of cleaning out these toxins and disease elements are vitally important. These bacteria, virus or toxins are going to show up sooner or later. You can either have a healthy body handle them on your terms or it will come out when it overpowers your weakened body.

It is better to go through small healing responses than a full-blown health crisis.

Key To preventing lifestyle diseases

Hippocrates, known as the father of modern medicine, had once said that a time will come when food will be taken as medicine and medicine will be taken as food. Modern medicine is today going back to the root cause of many diseases.

Improper diet causes nutritional disturbances in the body resulting in many diseases. Environment and genetic reasons enhance or check the disease. This is one of the emerging lines of study in modern medicine, which is termed Nutritional Medicine.

Famine had killed many in any number of countries. It had left an unpleasant notion worldwide that people are dying of starvation. Hence, there had been concerted efforts to increase output of food grain and other food products to prevent famine. In modern times, people are dying of excessive food, but they are yet to take stock of the situation.

People today eat according to convenience. The nutrient value of the intake of food is not however, appreciated, leading to a number of deficiencies. This imbalance in diet is said to have led to an increase in most of the lifestyle diseases. Modern medicine has found methods to treat these diseases, though the preventive aspects were seldom addressed.

Experts now opine that diabetes, cardio-vascular diseases, hypertension and even cancers can be prevented to some extent with a proper control over nutrition. The importance of nutritional medicine lies in taking stock of what we eat, how we eat and how much we eat.

Emerging Trends in Nutritional Medicine, the first workshop organised by Indian Nutritional Medical Association (INMA), during the weekend to stress the need for the right combination of food to prevent lifestyle diseases, addressed some of the growing concerns in the field.

The Association, formed by a group with a scientific temperament, including professionals in medical, engineering, environment science, agriculture, genetics and other related fields, is one of its kind in the country, says S.S. Manjunath, vice-president of the association.

Food is aplenty now but it is not consumed in the right manner. It was pointed out during the two-day workshop that tomatoes should become part of daily food, since lycopene, a nutrient found in tomatoes, helps in preventing cancers. However, the availability of tomatoes does not ensure that it is taken by individuals everyday as part of the diet, said A. Sreekumar, president of INMA.

INMA aims to promote research awareness and education in nutrition, nutritional supplements, environment and related fields and its clinical applications for prevention and treatment of diseases.

Reishi has been known in traditional Chinese medicine as a "cure-all" herb or a "panacea tonic" due to its potent ability to benefit the vital energy or "qi".

There can be a number of answers to this question but the people who join DXN are usually the people who have already benefited from DXN products and are aware of its health potential. There are three types of people who join DXN:

Steps to Ganotheraphy

Ganotherapy can be started by consuming one pair of Reishi Gano and Ganocelium i.e. 1RG+1GL. This RG/GL pair of Ganoderma must be taken in morning on empty stomach. If you have ulcer or some other stomach related problem then it can be taken after a light meal.

This one pair of RG/GL must be continued for 1 week or 10 days until you feel comfortable with it. Then one can increase this to two pairs i.e. one pair of RG+GL in morning and another pair of RG+GL in evening.

When ganoderma is taken (one pair or two pairs of RG/GL) body starts reacting to it, that is the process of regulating body functions and detoxification starts. This is a sign that Ganoderma is working.

One can continue increasing RG+GL pair until some reflection or reaction from the body is noticed and once you see this reflection, stop increasing the pairs and continue consuming pairs which caused body to reflect.

These reflections will settle down in days or weeks when body gets detoxified to some extent and improves its functioning, at this stage a person will also feel healthy.

During Ganotherapy one should consume more water and products with vitamin C. This will help detoxifying the body and throwing the toxins out of the body.

Can Ganoderma Cure your stubborn diseases?

Can Ganoderma Lucidum herb cure various chronic diseases including cancer? Can this fungus slow down aging and prevent illnesses? And how to choose the best Ganoderma extract to improve your health?

It is quite obvious by now. Conventional medication can only control most chronic diseases but not cure it. Those with hypertension, diabetes or asthma have to take medicine for the rest of their life. In the end, medication side effects may cause more harm than the actual illness itself.

How about cancer treatment? We cannot deny the importance of conventional treatment such as radio and chemo therapy for cancer. However, these cancer treatments also cause a lot of unwanted side effects such as lowering of immune system.

Besides conventional treatment, what other natural healing herb you can take for better health improvement?

Introducing Ganoderma herb...
Ganoderma Lucidum, also known as Lingzhi or Reishi, is just a tiny fungus grown in rotten wood. However, the Chinese held this herb in high regard for more than 2000 years, out of the thousands medicinal herb they knew.

And for many decades, the Japanese has diligently researched its healing properties using scientific methods. With modern technology, scientists were amazed of how it improves various health problems in human.

Many researches showed Ganoderma effectiveness in supporting human body throughout the aging process. This fungus is also well-known for its strong anti-cancer and anti-tumor effect. And for 19 years, we have been using this herb to support conventional treatment for a more promising healing result.

Ganotheraphy with Ganoderma

Ganotherapy is the method of taking ganoderma. Ganotherapy is about using Ganoderma based products especially RG and GL for health benefits. Ganoderma must be consumed according to ganotherapy procedure, this ensures maximum benefits in health and wellness.

Ganotherapy has been provided here for the benefit of those who are already consuming Ganoderma based products RG/GL i.e. Reishi Gano and Ganocelium. This article on Ganotherapy is also an answer to a number of queries that we receive on how to consume Ganoderma based products, now when this article on Ganotherapy is online most of the present and future queries will automatically get solved.

Basic Principles of Ganotherapy

Ganotherapy described here is based on few assumptions, one must understand these assumptions in order to maintain and retain health with Ganoderma. Starting Ganotherapy based on misconception will only lead to misunderstanding. It is best to know and understand how and when to use Ganoderma (RG/GL).

Ganotherapy desribed here only applies to Ganoderma based products RG/GL and is irrelevant to other Ganoderma based products like Lingzhi Coffee (or healthy coffee), Ganozi toothpaste, Ganozhi soap, Ganozi shampoo etc. So, here are the basic assumptions of Ganotherapy:

Causes of Health Problems : Ganotherapy believes that there are two reasons for health problems or illness. They are 1) accumulation of toxins in our body and 2) unbalanced body function i.e. lack of coordination between functions taking place in the body.

Is Ganoderma a cure : Second assumption of Ganotherapy is that Ganoderma isn't a cure or treatment for any illness, health condition or disease. Ganoderma only helps body to regulate unbalanced body functions, detoxifies body and helps body to improve its self defense system by improving its immunity against disease. All the health benefits that people see or are reported are achieved by these properties of Ganoderma.

Reflection by Body to Ganoderma : Ganotherapy believes that all the reactions (reflections) that we see in our body are caused by our body system. Our body system reacts to Ganotherapy on its own and Ganoderma itself isn't a reason or cause of reaction.

Dosage of Ganoderma : Another assumption of Ganotherapy is that dosage (quantity of RG/GL) is irrelevant to any disease or health condition, because Ganoderma isn't a cure or treatment but a health supplement which helps body to improve itself.

Reishi Liquid - DXN Coffee & DXN Tea

Reishi liquid is the medicinal extract found in the Ganoderma (also known as Reishi) mushroom. Known as "spirit medicine," Reishi liquid has been used in Chinese medicine for 4,000 years. It is one of the rarest and most respected mushrooms used in medicine. Due to its scarce existence, Reishi liquid (deriving from the Ganoderma or Reishi mushroom) was once very expensive and rarely available. Due to the advancements of indoor growing, this miraculous herb continues to thrive under the close supervision of greenhouse settings. Reishi liquid, though nearly impossible to find at one time, is now both affordable and accessible to many. DXN, a company who distributes Gano (or Reishi) coffee, is said to have the worlds largest organic Ganoderma plantation.

Reishi liquid is used to treat a wide range of illnesses, including coronary disorders, allergies, allergic reactions, lung and liver disorders, HIV/AIDS, stress and cancer. Many patients, who have been diagnosed with cancer, look to Reishi liquid for its ability to lessen the discomfort of chemotherapy treatments. In fact, Reishi liquid is thought to have the ability to prevent the reoccurrence of cancer due to its ability to strengthen the immune system. When functioning properly, the immune system is designed to detect and fight against harmful viruses and other infections before they cause damage to the body. For this reason, many people begin a treatment regimen involving Reishi liquid as a preventative method to avoid future illnesses.

Individuals who suffer from stress related symptoms, including fatigue, loss of concentration and sleep deprivation may consider Reishi liquid as it promotes an overall improvement in mental health while lessening the effects of stress.

Reishi liquid is one of the main ingredients in Gano Cafe, which is a coffee that combines Ganoderma (also known as Reishi) mushroom extract and Brazilian roasted coffee beans. The absence of side effects combined with a natural healing ability have enabled this coffee to be mentioned as "The Worlds 1st Healthy Coffee." Reishi liquid has also shown to provide comfort for allergy sufferers and allergic reactions. Cosmetically, Reishi liquid may benefit those who wish to have improvements in skin tone, reduction in acne, fine lines and age spots.

Any persons who decide to begin a treatment involving Reishi liquid should expect to experience some type of reaction, which may appear within a few days or months following the onset of treatment. This article should, in no way, be considered as medical advice or instructions. A licensed medical doctor should be consulted before beginning any new treatment regimen, including that which consists of Reishi liquid.
